ABOUT ME
I create a non-judgmental space for my patients in which they can simply be, feel comfortable and, above all, let go.
I guess you could say that my love of naturopathy literally runs through my stomach to this day: my fascination with wild herbs and the realization of how many plants in nature turn out to be edible sparked my interest at an early age. After delving deeper into naturopathy and reading a book on the subject, it wasn’t long before I decided to train as a naturopath. I am still amazed every day at how much you can achieve with just a few resources.
By working with my hands in combination with my empathetic nature, I quickly realize what my patients need at that moment. Not least because of my work in care, where I have a lot of contact with people affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s, I can put myself in different situations very well. I create a non-judgmental space for my patients in which they can simply be, feel comfortable and, above all, let go. This also applies to manual therapy: I always adapt my techniques to what is good for my patient at the time. The personal relationship with my patients plays an important role for me. I don’t want to be a stranger, I want to work together on ailments in a sustainable way and walk the path to solving the problem together.
I particularly enjoy working with trigger point therapy, fascia therapy, cupping and phytotherapy in my treatments. Iris diagnostics is also exciting for me, as it is a valuable addition to the aforementioned forms of therapy and gives them a foundation. With all therapeutic approaches, it is very important to me that the procedure is practicable and fits into my patients’ lives. It never ceases to amaze me how complex the human body is and how creative I can be in my work to find an individual approach to a problem.
