ABOUT THE LOCATION
Meilen is the capital of the district of Meilen in the canton of Zurich. The town is located between Zurich and Rapperswill-Jona directly at the shores of Lake Zurich. It is easily reachable from Zurich main station within 20 minutes by S-Bahn.
Meilen is divided into 4 districts: Feldmeilen, Obermeilen, and Dorfmeilen on the lakeshore, as well as Bergmeilen. Laurent’s Origin practice is located in Dorfmeilen, and you can reach the lake from there within a 3-minute walk.
THINGS TO DO IN MEILEN AFTER A TREATMENT
Since Laurents practice is only 3 minutes from the lake, we recommend enjoying the sun on the lakeshore after the massage. If you would like to jump into the water, you can do so at the Meilener Strandbad. Additionally, the bathing facility has a Kneipp water-treading point, ideal to further strengthen your immune system in addition to the massage!
If you have a little more time, you can also enjoy a cruise on Lake Zurich. The boat stops at different towns at the lake and depending on your mood you can get off in Zurich and go for a little stroll there.
For all those interested in culture, the local museum Meilen is clearly worth a visit. Here you can learn more about the life of the pile farmers who once inhabited the shores of Lake Zurich.
For all those who want to treat themselves to something delicious to eat after the massage, Laurent recommends the pizzeria “Napule”, because according to him they serve one of the best original Neapolitan pizzas in all of the canton of Zurich!
