Babies communicate through touch from the very beginning. A loving massage can help strengthen the bond between parent and child, convey a sense of security, and create shared moments of calm.
Starting now, our therapist Giorgia is offering baby massage classes for parents and their babies at our Origin Massage practice in Oerlikon. After completing her training as a certified baby massage instructor, she guides mothers, fathers, and their newborns as they discover the world of mindful touch.
The baby massage class takes place at our Origin Massage practice in Oerlikon, located at Schaffhauserstrasse 367, 8050 Zurich Oerlikon. There is a maximum of four babies per class to ensure that every participant receives the attention they need.

Cost

Dates & Duration
The workshop takes place once a month on Saturdays. Dates are set three months in advance. A course consists of 5 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes.
What is Infant Massage?
Infant massage is a gentle and nurturing form of touch specifically adapted to the needs of babies. Through simple massage techniques, parents learn to better understand their baby’s signals while supporting their child’s physical and emotional development.

During the workshop, Giorgia will guide you step by step through a variety of massage strokes and techniques for different parts of your baby’s body.

- Practical tips for applying infant massage at home
- Understanding your baby’s signals and needs
The exercises are practised directly with your baby, allowing you to apply what you learn immediately.
Infant Massage for Colic and Restlessness
Many parents report that gentle touch helps their baby feel calmer and more relaxed. In particular, tummy massage is a popular part of infant massage routines.
Important: Infant massage is not a substitute for medical treatment. If your baby has any health concerns, we recommend consulting your paediatrician or healthcare provider.
Who teaches the baby massage class?
Your instructor, Giorgia, is a certified baby massage instructor. With great sensitivity, she guides parents and babies through their first months together and teaches practical techniques that can easily be incorporated into daily life.

The course will take place at our Origin Massage practice in Oerlikon, located at Schaffhauserstrasse 367, 8050 Zurich Oerlikon. There will be five sessions (each 90 minutes), each held on one Saturday per month.
