Monica Piccolotto

From an early age, I realised how important direct contact with people is to me. I used to massage family members simply out of joy and, through that, experienced how much closeness, trust and impact can lie in conscious touch. These experiences shaped me deeply and led me to honestly reflect on how I want to work and make a difference in the long term. It became clear to me that I want a profession in which people are at the centre. In massage therapy, I found exactly that: presence, mindfulness and the opportunity to directly sense what is beneficial, and to accompany people with empathy on their journey.

As a medical massage therapist, I am fascinated by the depth of this work. I am able to build trust, take time, and work together with patients to find out which method is the right one in each moment. The body is a complex system with countless connections, and I find it incredibly exciting to understand these relationships and to observe the progress of a treatment. Seeing how things change, what has an effect and what may need adjustment is a central part of my work.
