ABOUT ME
My Path as a Naturopath and Therapist
The question of why I became a therapist is best answered with “It was a process.” My affinity for working with people has always been the common thread in my professional biography. It began in my training as a nurse and led me to cosmetology and, during that time, to continuous further education, from foot reflexology to naturopathy. A short time in the commercial world confirmed that I need the direct interaction with people in my job. In 2019, I combined all my experiences and completed my training as a naturopath. I especially like to work with the body – often it is the non-verbal communication with my patients* through which we can solve the problems and complaints.
Creating a space where you can just be
In my treatments, I create a space that allows one to simply be. As a therapist, my strength lies in my ability to connect with people on all levels and respond to their individual needs. This means recognizing the nonverbal and understanding what they need, even though they may not express it. I often discover that words become less important when the body begins to speak. I create a space where people have time to just be, and where they can find the peace that is often missing in everyday life. It’s about seeing and feeling the person as a whole.
The feedback I often get is that my clients really feel comfortable with me. They come back because they can be themselves in my practice and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. It is this ability to create an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding that sets me apart as a therapist.
